Job summary

Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens, Inc. is seeking a Residence Supervisor to oversee residential, rehabilitative and recovery services within multiple programs in Brooklyn, Queens, and surrounding sites.

The role requires an MSW with NY licensure preferred and at least three years of mental health or substance abuse experience, plus supervisory experience. Travel across the five boroughs is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
• New York State LCSW or LMSW preferred.
• Three years of mental health and/or substance abuse experience.
• Three years of supervisory experience in the field.
• Able to travel throughout the five boroughs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee residential, clinical and case management services, including physical plant operations.
• Provide direct residential, rehabilitative and recovery, clinical and case management services to designated clients.
• Develop, oversee and participate in group and activity programs for rehabilitation and recovery.
• Prepare a quarterly activity program with staff and Activities Coordinator.
• Obtain and maintain credentials, licenses and certifications as needed.
• Conduct unscheduled visits to ensure safety and performance.
• Ensure services meet contractual requirements and Agency Mission.
• Contribute to development of policies, protocols and clinical pathways.
• Supervise staff and ensure adherence to policies across shifts.
• Coordinate with housekeeping/maintenance to address program issues.
• Facilitate bi-weekly case reviews and staff meetings; provide trainings.
