Job summary

Moody Neurorehabilitation Institute seeks a Program Assistant to provide 24-hour supervision and care in its residential area. The role includes observing and documenting patient behavior, assisting therapy staff, and maintaining confidential records to support treatment plans.

You will help with ADL activities, transfers, and transportation to appointments while upholding Moody Neurorehabilitation Institute policies and ensuring patient safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate ability to work with others and motivate individuals served.
• Capable of following instructions accurately and documenting activities.
• Hold current CPR and first aid certifications.
• Certified in Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) is preferred.
• Driver's license valid.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour supervision and care in residential area.
• Observe, document and report patient behavior and functioning.
• Assist therapy staff with modules and daily activities.
• Ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
• Maintain logs, seizure reports, medication sheets and shift reports.
• Transport patients to appointments and activities.
• Assist with ADL activities and transfers.
