Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking staff for its women’s program, offering residential and intensive outpatient services to support recovery and employment readiness.

The role emphasizes helping women achieve abstinence, stable housing, and employment while managing parenting responsibilities, in a gender-specific program. Training and supervision opportunities exist for licensure tracks.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Gender-specific program requires female staff.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to deal effectively with conflict situations, manage aggressive behavior, and use non-violent crisis intervention and behavioral management techniques.
• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in behavioral health or substance use disorder services is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist in training basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills.
• Performs administrative, clerical and related support activities.
• Observes and monitors client behavior and documents observations and incidents.
• Provide guidance, motivation and encouragement to promote recovery.
• Oversee self-administration of medication.
• Assist in obtaining GEDs, resume building, job placement and may transport consumers to part-time jobs.
• Serve as mentors and assist in group and outing activities.
• Knowledge of substance misuse and behavior management is preferred.
• Other duties as assigned.
