Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health women's program in Marietta, GA, provides recovery services for women with mental illness, substance use disorders and related needs. The program supports advocacy for employment, housing, and safe community living through residential and intensive outpatient care.

Responsibilities include assisting with basic skills training, clerical tasks, monitoring client behavior, guiding recovery, supervising medication, and helping with GEDs and job placement.

Qualifications

• Assist in training of basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills.
• Provide guidance, motivation and encouragement to promote recovery.
• Oversee self-administration of medication.
• Assist in obtaining GEDs, resume building, job placement and may transport consumers to and from part-time jobs.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative, clerical and related support activities.
• Observe and monitor client's behavior and chart observations and incidents.
• Serve as mentors and assist in group and outing activities.
• Assist in knowledge of substance misuse and behavior management in clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
