Beaufort County is seeking a dedicated supervisor to monitor individuals with intellectual disabilities in a home setting and interact with families and the community. The role helps ensure licensing standards are met and trains others to promote community success.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with about one year of college and 6–12 months of related experience. Certifications in CPR, OSHA, Defensive Driving, and Medication administration are required, along with a valid

• Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent supplemented by specialized courses/training equivalent to completion of one (1) year of college.
• Over six months and up to and including one year of related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, handling concerns, directing work, counseling, disciplining, and completing employee performance appraisals.
• Coordinates, assigns and reviews work and establishes work schedules; maintains standards; monitors status of work in progress; inspects completed work assignments; answers questions; gives advice and direction as needed.
• Supervises medication administration; fiscal home management; medical appointments, follow-ups; infection control; transportation of clients; and assistance with home chores and shopping errands.
• Communicates with families of clients.
• Monitors spending of client funds.
• Inspects environment.
• Maintains inventory of supplies.
• Maintains electronic health records.
• Performs related work as assigned.
