Job summary

Havenwyck Hospital in Auburn Hills, MI seeks a dynamic Supervisor, Residential Care Specialist for a full-time day shift (7:00am-3:30pm). The RCS Supervisor oversees care for children/adolescents, supports admissions and transfers, and ensures a safe therapeutic environment under the Director of Residential Services.

Qualifications

High School diploma required.
Associate degree in health care field or two years college, preferred.
At least 18 months’ experience in RCS role or equivalent, required.
Experience with emotionally impaired population, preferred.
Experience with Impulse Disorder unit, preferred.
Satisfactory motor vehicle operation report, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, therapeutic care for children/adolescents (9–18).
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Observe residents’ behavior and report to clinical staff.
Assist with activities of daily living and encourage independence.
