Allies, Inc. is a NJ nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves residential and community work, 1:1 supervision, and adherence to treatment plans to promote independence and safety.

Starting pay is noted and benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement options. The position requires working flexible hours and potential relocation within program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of direct care experience with I/DD.
• High School Diploma with 1 year direct care experience.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to sit, bend, reach and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.

Responsabilités

• Cover assigned shifts and may be asked to cover other shifts as directed by management.
• Provide community integration via focused recreational activities.
• Assist with activities of daily living with respect, dignity and within the youth’s rights.
• Provide direct youth supervision, including 1:1 supervision as needed.
• Medication monitoring and complete documentation following procedures.
• Document all required information in a timely and accurate manner.
