Job summary

Allies Inc. is seeking residential staff to support individuals with disabilities in New Jersey, performing daily living assistance, supervision, and community integration. You may work at different locations as required and must communicate effectively in English.

The role requires either a Bachelor’s Degree with direct care experience or a high school diploma with similar experience, and a valid driver's license. Starting pay is $20/hour with benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 1 year of experience providing direct care to individuals with I/DD.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 year direct care experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Works assigned shifts and may cover other shifts as directed.
• Provide community integration through recreational activities.
• Assist with activities of daily living while respecting the youth’s rights.
• Provide direct youth supervision, including 1:1 as needed.
• Monitor medications and document accordingly.
• Document program schedules, behavior supports, and treatment interventions.
• Complete internal documentation, including logs and monthly reports.
• Attend and complete required residential trainings and annual trainings.
• Accompany individuals to appointments and activities as per plans.
• Support positive networks with families, case managers, and community.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and provide hands-on assistance.
• Participate in admissions and treatment team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
