Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of training or knowledge of substance abuse treatment theory and practice.
• Experience with the program population in residential or outpatient settings preferred.
• Ability to interact respectfully with clients and form therapeutic alliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety of clients in a substance abuse treatment program.
• Provide motivational and educational support to help clients meet goals.
• Schedule and coordinate client transportation; assist with activities.
• Support treatment plans by reporting observations and contributing to therapy decisions.
