Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. is seeking Relief Staff to provide daily care, supervision and safety for individuals with developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, with shifts assigned as needed and paid hourly.

The role reports to the Residential Logistics Director and offers a chance to gain varied experience, with potential pathway to part-time or full-time opportunities based on program needs and performance.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or G.E.D.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Daily use of a car on site (preferred but not required).
• Available by telephone for daily contact.

Responsibilities

• Monitor individuals for health and safety.
• Safely evacuate individuals in the event of fire or disaster.
• Provide daily care, supervision and safety in residential/community settings.
• Maintain confidentiality and document daily data.
• Complete all necessary data sheets for therapists (PT/OT/SLP/Behavioral).
• Assist with transfers, mobility tasks and activities as needed.
• Support individuals to participate in meaningful activities and community life.
