Job summary

Venture-Community-Service is hiring Relief Staff to support daily care, supervision, and safety for developmentally disabled individuals in residential and community settings in Sturbridge, MA. The role offers flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, with hourly compensation and potential for part/full-time opportunities.

The position requires lifting assistance, adherence to ISP goals, and clear communication with supervisors.

Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respectful communication.
• Ability to follow ISP and behavior plans.

Responsibilities

• Monitor individuals for health and safety.
• Safely evacuate individuals in fire or disaster.
• Communicate with Residential Logistics Director at least every two weeks.
• Work a minimum of 3 shifts per month.
• Physically assist with transfers and lifting (up to 150–250 lb).
• Educate and train individuals in ISP and behavior plans.
• Document daily data and maintain records.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
