Job summary

San Diego Center for Children seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead shift supervisors and direct-care staff within a residential treatment center. You will ensure a safe, structured, and therapeutic milieu aligned with treatment plans and regulatory requirements.

You will coach staff, manage staffing schedules, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support program quality and staff development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of full-time experience working with children or adolescents in residential care or behavioral health.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory, lead, or mentoring experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a valid CA driver's license.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred; a High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to staff and maintain a positive, therapeutic environment.
• Coordinate staffing to ensure 24-hour coverage in line with program needs.
• Maintain safety, structure, and therapeutic milieu within the residential setting.
• Coach staff, conduct performance evaluations, and support staff development.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, Joint Commission standards, and internal policies.
• Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and program development.
