Job summary

Northpointe Behavioral Healthcare System seeks a Residential Manager to supervise a home for individuals with I/DD and/or mental illness, ensuring high-quality, safe care in a comfortable setting.

You will oversee staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, while supporting residents and coordinating with guardians and the care team. A health-related degree and supervisory experience are preferred, with a valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Degree in a health-related field or nursing is preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience working with individuals with I/DD and MI required.
• Experience working in a licensed adult foster care preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in a supervisory or team lead role preferred.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assists clinical staff in planning, implementing, and monitoring each individual's plan of service.
• Advocates for and ensures that the rights of each individual are protected.
• Supervises and balances expenditures for each individual's personal funds.
• Coordinates and implements a staffing schedule, meetings, individual appointments, and training.
• Oversees and ensures compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
• Completes necessary paperwork in a timely manner, including monthly residential occupancy report, employee infection control form, manages performance indicators data sheet, petty cash data sheet, bills, etc.
• Maintains compliance with the budgetary guidelines set for the home.
• Directly supervises residential support specialists and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Participates in interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work duties.
• Conducts performance evaluations and implements corrective/disciplinary action as appropriate.
• Addresses concerns and resolves problems.
• Advocates for residents and serves as a liaison for communication with guardians and other members of the care team.
