Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a Residential Care Supervisor for the Hartmann program, a residential treatment setting for adolescents with substance use issues. The role oversees the Hartmann Residential Care Technicians, ensuring safety, daily living activities, and progress monitoring to support recovery and wellbeing.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 21 years old, and 1 year of direct care experience (or an associate’s degree).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Gender specific program requires female staff.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum 1 year providing social or direct care services to individuals with addictive disease in a human service setting or associate's degree.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Residential Care Technicians during their shift with coaching and supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities and provide support in a 24/7 facility.
• Prepare and maintain progress records and report changes to supervisor.
• Facilitate life skills groups on hygiene, nutrition, money management and social skills.
• Provide structured activities to promote recovery, wellness and community living skills.
• Monitor urinalysis and self-administration of medications per policies.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities in the community.
• Ensure ethical delivery of services and assist with compliance.
• Intervene in crisis situations as needed and support increased census coverage.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and agency policies.
