Qualifications

• Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration through MHACBO.
• Eligibility requires one of: Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science fields or three years of behavioral health experience or equivalent combination.

• Assist clients with self-administration of medications and transport clients as needed.
• Maintain compliance with documentation productivity standards and participate in care activities per treatment plans.

About the Position

We are looking for a Residential Care Associate II to join our team at our Manzanita Ridge SRTF in Junction City, Oregon. The role involves providing support to residents according to their individualized treatment plan with a focus on personal care services, environmental intervention, and limited group social and recreational treatment activities. Responsibilities include administer prescribed medications, document medical charts and count sheets, assist clients with self-administration of medications, transport clients, and maintain compliance with documentation productivity standards.

This position falls under the AFSCME bargaining unit. Wages, benefits, and working conditions are set in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

Training Program

With our MHACBO-accredited training program, you will earn CEUs toward applicable mental health certifications, attend required paid training, and receive qualified clinical supervision.

Work Schedule

Sunday through Monday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm (Part Time, Swing)

What You’ll Make

Starting at $22.50 - $23.88 per hour DOE/Credentials.

Differentials:

• Night Shift (NOC) Differential: Additional $3.00 per hour for hours worked between 10:00 PM and 8:30 AM, provided at least 2.5 hours of the shift occur within this period.
• Secure Program Differential: Additional $2.00 per hour for all hours worked in an eligible CCS secure program.
• Bilingual Differential: Additional 5% pay differential for employees who meet the qualifications of the CCS Language/Bilingual Program.

About the Program

Manzanita Ridge is a secure, co-ed, 8-bed program serving adults living with a mental illness, located on the grounds of Junction City Hospital.

ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.

What You’ll Need

Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Associate registration through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO). Eligibility requires one of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field.
• Three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting.
• Equivalent combination of behavioral science education and satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training.

Will be required to register as a QMHA‑R through MHACBO during the first week of employment.

Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants must provide a valid driver's license from their state of residence or obtain and submit one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.

Physical Demands

This position requires frequent talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. Occasionally use ladders, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks. Must complete crisis de‑escalation and CPR trainings, which involve physical, hands‑on maneuvers and may require lifting and transferring clients.
