Join us as a Residential Camp Kitchen Supervisor at Avid4 Adventure

We are hiring Kitchen Supervisors for our Colorado Overnight Camps at:

• Camp Blue Sky (Grades 1-5), Evergreen, CO
• Camp Windy Peak (Grades 6-12), Bailey, CO

Role Overview

In this role, you will:

• Ensure the kitchen complies with state cleanliness and sanitation regulations
• Manage dietary restrictions to provide diverse and adequate meals for all campers and staff
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Coordinate with the kitchen team for various programs, including expeditions and special events
• Engage with campers and staff to enhance their camp experience
• Lead and motivate the dining services team

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old by the start of camp training
• Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred
• ServSafe certification required (covered by Avid4 Adventure)
• Visa sponsorship is not available

Additional Details

• Work Schedule: 35-40 hours/week, with split shifts (mornings and evenings), 7 days a week, with overtime eligibility
• Position Duration: Training from May 28; camp runs from June 1 to August 2
• Compensation: Starting at $15.55/hour, based on responsibilities and experience
• Housing: On-site housing available for $100/week, including meals; staff may choose to stay off-site
