Overview

For nearly 20 years, Avid4 Adventure has empowered kids to live active outdoor lifestyles through unique programming. We are seeking Kitchen Supervisors for our Colorado Overnight Camps at:

• Camp Blue Sky (Grades 1-5), Evergreen, CO
• Camp Windy Peak (Grades 6-12), Bailey, CO

Responsibilities

1. Maintain kitchen compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
2. Manage dietary restrictions to ensure diverse, nutritious meals for all.
3. Prepare and serve meals to campers and staff.
4. Coordinate with the kitchen team for various programs and special events.
5. Engage with campers and staff to enhance their camp experience.
6. Lead and motivate the dining services team to foster teamwork and enjoyment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 by the start of camp training.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• ServSafe certification required (covered by Avid4 Adventure).
• Note: We are unable to sponsor visas; international candidates requiring sponsorship are not eligible.

Details

• Schedule: 35-40 hours/week, split shifts (6am-2pm and 1pm-9pm), 7 days/week, with overtime eligibility.
• Duration: Training begins May 28; camp runs June 1 - August 2.
• Pay: Starting at $15.55/hour, based on experience and responsibilities.
• Housing: On-site housing available for $100/week, including meals. Staff are not required to stay on-site.
