Job summary

K. Hovnanian Companies, LLC is seeking an Architecture CAD Drafter to translate home designs into precise plans that help illustrate home plans, building materials, options, etc. You will draft detailed drawings and construct documents for review by internal decision-makers and future homeowners.

A bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 2–5 years in the homebuilding industry are required; proficiency in AutoCAD Architectural Desktop and Google SketchUp is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent in homebuilding industry experience.
• Knowledge of residential construction, structural and mechanical designs.

Responsibilities

• Draw accurate and detailed plans illustrating home designs, materials, options, etc.
• Develop forms, charts and construction documents for review by internal decision-makers and future homeowners.
