Job summary

K. Hovnanian® Homes is seeking a CAD Designer to create accurate and detailed home plans using premier CAD tools. You will develop construction documents and oversee drawings for review by decision-makers and future homeowners.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or 2–5 years in homebuilding, with proficiency in AutoCAD Architectural Desktop and Google SketchUp, plus knowledge of residential construction and structural/mechanical design.

• Proficient in AutoCAD Architectural Desktop and Google SketchUp.

Responsibilities

• Using premier CAD technology, draw accurate and detailed plans illustrating home plans, materials, options, etc.
• Develop forms, charts and other construction documents for review by internal decision-makers and future homeowners.
