Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets residential construction documents for code compliance.
• Documents and maintains records of inspections and prepares reports.
• Consults with contractors, builders, designers, and the public on code requirements.
• Performs inspections of residential and commercial structures for code conformance.
• Assesses damages post-disaster and prepares hazard reports.
• Maintains continuing education units to keep ICC certifications current.
• Operates and maintains a vehicle and inspection tools.
• Issues Certificates of Occupancy for residential construction when qualified.
