QXO is seeking a Residential Building Designer to develop and coordinate design projects from concept through construction documentation. You will create floor plans, elevations, and site plans using Revit and AutoCAD, collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure accurate, code-compliant designs.

The role emphasizes residential construction knowledge, strong drafting skills, and effective communication to translate client needs into buildable plans.

Qualifications

• Strong architectural drafting and residential design skills.
• Experience preparing residential construction documents and coordinating design projects.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD; able to produce detailed construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate designs for single-family homes and light commercial projects.
• Produce detailed construction documents (floor plans, elevations, sections, details).
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams; ensure code-compliant designs.
