  • Skills in Behavioral Intervention and Psychology to support therapeutic activities and understand the underlying factors influencing behavior.
  • Strong Communication skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document observations clearly, and interact with residents in a respectful, supportive manner.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working in residential, mental health, or behavioral health settings is beneficial.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries, manage stressful situations, and follow individualized care plans consistently.

Role Description

The Residential Behavioral Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Boise, ID. This role supports individuals in a residential setting by implementing behavior support plans, monitoring daily routines, and documenting behavioral observations in alignment with clinical guidance. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, modeling appropriate coping skills, and providing consistent, trauma-informed support to promote safety and emotional regulation. The technician collaborates with clinical staff to report progress, communicate changes in behavior, and adjust interventions as needed. Additional duties may involve participating in team meetings, maintaining a structured and therapeutic environment, and following all organizational policies and regulatory standards.
