Job summary

New Haven is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians to support adolescent girls in a residential treatment setting in Spanish Fork, Utah. You’ll provide hands-on support through daily routines, group activities, coping skills, emotional regulation, and structured programming while working closely with therapists and clinical staff.

Paid training is provided. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 21 years of age, a valid driver’s license, the ability to pass a Utah State

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass Utah State background check.
• Willingness to commit to at least 8 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and behavioral health support to adolescent residents.
• Lead and participate in daily routines, group activities, and therapeutic programming.
• Support the development of healthy coping skills, communication, and emotional regulation.
• Assist with minor food preparation and model healthy lifestyle habits.
• Maintain a safe, structured, trauma‑informed environment.
• Collaborate with therapists and clinical staff to support individualized treatment plans.
• Document daily progress notes and communicate key updates to leadership.
• Use safe verbal de‑escalation and physical intervention skills when needed.
