Job summary

New Haven is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians / Mental Health Technicians to support adolescent girls in a residential treatment setting in Spanish Fork, Utah. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a Utah State background check.
• Willingness to commit to a minimum of 8 months.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit before the first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and behavioral health support to adolescent residents.
• Lead and participate in daily routines, group activities, and therapeutic programming.
• Support the development of healthy coping skills, communication, and emotional regulation.
• Assist with minor food preparation and model healthy lifestyle habits.
• Maintain a safe, structured, trauma-informed environment.
• Collaborate with therapists and clinical staff to support individualized treatment plans.
• Document daily progress notes and communicate key updates to leadership.
• Use safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention skills when needed.
