Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician for a residential treatment setting in Tennessee. The role provides around-the-clock supervision and supports a therapeutic milieu for adults with co-occurring diagnoses.

The entry-level position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a valid driver’s license; one year of behavioral health experience is preferred. Benefits include a 401(k) plan and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in the addiction or mental health fields (preferred).
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively; listen and clarify questions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support clients and staff in a residential treatment facility.
• Provide around-the-clock supervision and maintain a therapeutic milieu.
• Assist with medication observations and vitals collection; support medical staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR using standard clinical language.
• Facilitate non-clinical group sessions within scope of practice.
