RHA Behavioral Health Services in North Carolina seeks a Behavioral Health Specialist (Qualified Professional) to join an interdisciplinary team supporting individuals in residential, school, workplace and community settings.

Responsibilities include developing and monitoring person-centered plans, linking with families and agencies, providing counseling, and coordinating services to promote recovery and functioning.

Formación

• Bachelor degrees in relevant fields; 4+ years full-time experience (not Human Services) or 2+ years with Human Services bachelor’s, or Master’s and 1+ year in population served.
• Definitions: Human Service Degrees Include: Social Service, Sociology, Psychology, or other Human Service Degrees.
• Populations Served Include: Mentally Ill-Child, Mentally Ill- Adult, Substance Abuse-Adult, Substance Abuse-Child.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, monitor and revise the Person Centered Plan with the interdisciplinary team.
• Facilitate relationships and act as liaison between the company, families, guardians, local agencies and community.
• Minimize impact of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence; provide supportive counseling.
• Support clients in building daily living, social, adaptation, and behavior management skills.
• Participate in 24/7/365 on-call system; coordinate first response resources.
• Perform Case Management linking services and referrals.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain communication and expedite PCP implementation.
• Ensure initial and reauthorizations for services occur timely.
• Monitor service utilization for effectiveness and appropriateness.

Educación

Bachelor degree (not Human Services field) with 4+ years experience

Bachelor degree (in Human Services field) with 2+ years experience

Master’s degree or higher with 1+ years experience
