Job summary

Elwyn in Pennsylvania seeks a dedicated team member to support adults with behavioral health needs in Elwyn’s Adult Residential Treatment Facility. You will supervise and provide counseling, advocate for individuals, and assist with activities of daily living and community integration.

This role requires collaboration with families, interfacing with outside support agencies, and participating in an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in human services or related field preferred, or 60 college credits with 1 year behavioral health experience, or 30 college credits with 2 years behavioral health experience.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• CPR and crisis intervention techniques using agency protocols.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to behavior management plans.
• Advocate for individuals with outside support agencies.
• Interface with families within signed consent.
• Facilitate Psycho-Educational groups with Behavioral Health Professional support.
• Plan and implement community integration plans.
• Maintain communication with medical staff as needed.
• Assist and train individuals in self-care and independence.
• Ensure a safe and clean living environment.
• Intervene in crisis situations following agency protocols.
• Escort individuals to appointments and attend staff meetings.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team and complete required documentation.
