Job summary

AltaPointe Health is seeking a Behavioral Aide for its Adult Residential Services in Mobile, AL. The role supports adults with serious mental illness in group homes, focusing on daily living skills, observation, and rehabilitation.

You will assist with meals, personal care, and transportation to appointments, document progress, and work with the treatment team to de-escalate crises and promote community re-entry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Maintain a valid Alabama driver's license and proof of current liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing monitoring and interaction with residents, including training on basic living skills.
• Meets daily productivity standards through individual and group BLS services.
• Assists residents with personal care, meals, and household tasks.
• Transports residents to appointments and outings.
• Documents in a timely, legible manner per AltaPointe policy.
• Collaborates with the treatment team and attends scheduled meetings.
