Job summary

Zepf Center in Toledo, Ohio, seeks a Contingent Residential Behavior Specialist to support resident safety, security, and continuity of services across varying hours. The role works closely with the House Manager and direct care staff to plan activities and ensure adherence to ISP guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid certification, and experience with behavioral health populations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or enrollment in a social services/mental health program.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Background check required to determine fitness to provide services.
• Medication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide for residents' safety by monitoring and applying precautions as listed.
• Ensure security of the building and continuity of services during shifts.
• Carry out treatment plans with residents as listed in the ISP.
• Assist residents in skill-building and recreational activities per ISP.
• Document significant events in charts and logs.
• Perform cooking, cleaning, and facility chores as needed.
• Report maintenance problems and escalate to House Manager.
• Engage in agency policies and participate in meetings as requested.
