Job summary

Anderson Center For Autism Inc in New York is hiring a Residential Behavior Specialist (RBS) to provide direct behavioral services to children in a residential setting. The RBS will conduct assessments, support staff, and oversee behavioral plans to promote skill development.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in psychology or ABA, and preferably experience with dual diagnoses. The role includes full-time hours with evening and weekend shifts, and a robust benefits package including up to 6 weeks of paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field.
• Enrolled in a Master's Degree program with ABA focus or willing to enroll.
• Background and training in ABA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the day-to-day operations of the residential environment.
• Conduct Functional Behavior assessments and develop function-based behavior support plans.
• Coaching and supporting the residential team to increase socially significant behavior.
