Job summary
ProSource in Bluffton, SC is seeking an experienced Sales Designer to join its elite AV design team. The role focuses on designing and quoting residential AV upgrade solutions for new and existing clients, with emphasis on accuracy and customer service.
Responsibilities include client meetings, site walkthroughs, system analysis, and coordination with contractors. Knowledge of AV interconnections, LAN/WiFi, and home theater design is essential; certifications are a plus.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in the AV installation industry.
- Extensive knowledge of AV and network systems.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Experience with quoting, residential construction, and customer relations/sales.
- Understanding of AV interconnections, LAN/WiFi, control systems, surround sound, and installation methods.
- Knowledge of home integration products, lighting control, video distribution, remote access, and home theater.
- Industry certification from CEDIA/Infocomm is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Quoting for new and upgrade systems.
- Client meetings and jobsite walkthroughs.
- Existing system analysis and liaison with general contractors and trades.
- Installation documentation production.
