Amego, Inc. is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Residential Assistant Teachers to join our Children’s Residential Services team. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities.As a Residential Assistant Teacher, you will work directly with the individuals we support in a residential home setting. You will help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment while assisting residents with daily living skills, community participation, communication, social development, and individualized goals.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct care and support to children and adolescents in our residential homes.Implement individualized treatment, behavioral, and educational plans under the direction of supervisors and clinical staff.Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, meals, household routines, and community activities.Encourage independence, communication, social skills, and positive decision-making.Support residents during recreational, educational, and community-based activities.Follow established behavior-support and safety procedures.Maintain accurate documentation regarding resident progress, activities, and incidents.Work collaboratively with residential supervisors, teachers, clinicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all residents.Participate in required training, staff meetings, and professional development.Follow all Amego policies, procedures, confidentiality requirements, and applicable regulations.What We’re Looking ForWe are looking for team members who are patient, compassionate, reliable, and committed to helping children succeed.
