Job summary

Amego, Inc. is seeking compassionate Residential Assistant Teachers to join our Children’s Residential Services team in Franklin, MA.

This full-time role offers an hourly wage of $22.00–$26.50 and involves working with children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You will help residents with daily living skills, social development, communication, and individualized goals, under the direction of clinical and supervisory staff.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and committed to helping children succeed.
• Interest in gaining experience in special education, psychology, social work, behavioral health, human services, nursing, or applied behavior analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to children and adolescents in residential homes.
• Implement individualized treatment, behavioral, and educational plans under supervision.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, personal care, hygiene, meals, routines, and community activities.
• Encourage independence, communication, social skills, and positive decision-making.
• Support residents during recreational, educational, and community-based activities.
• Follow established behavior-support and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation regarding resident progress, activities, and incidents.
• Work collaboratively with residential supervisors, teachers, clinicians, nurses, and other team members.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all residents.
• Participate in required training, staff meetings, and professional development.
• Follow Amego policies, procedures, confidentiality requirements, and applicable regulations.

Amego, Inc. is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Residential Assistant Teachers to join our Children’s Residential Services team. As a Residential Assistant Teacher, you will work directly with the individuals we support in a residential home setting. You will help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment while assisting residents with daily living skills, community participation, communication, social development, and individualized goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to children and adolescents in our residential homes.
