JEVS Human Services is seeking a part-time Instructor to teach the Commercial/Industrial Electricity class at Orleans Technical College under the supervision of the Academic Affairs Director. The position is Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30PM to 10:15PM with a base pay of $32.50/hr.

Under the supervision of the Academic Affairs Director, the Instructor will be responsible for teaching the Commercial/Industrial Electricity class at Orleans Technical College.

• Provide instruction in the basics of commercial electricity with emphasis on safety, mathematics, NEC 2020 code, electrical motors, controllers, and PLCs.
• Supervise students in hands‑on trades tasks
• Provide evaluation of students’ on hands‑on activities
• Provide testing of students’ knowledge of theory; maintain student attendance and grade rosters
• Prepare curricula materials

This position is part-time, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30PM to 10:15pm.

Part‑time instructor pay rate is $32.50

The base pay for this position is $32.50/hr. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
