Job summary

Bridges of America in Lynbrook, NY is seeking a Resident Aide (full-time/part-time) to support residents in a re-entry program. You will supervise residents at all times, ensure safety, conduct daily house inspections, and maintain logs and meals as needed.

This role requires at least one year of safety/security experience, High School Diploma or GED, and ability to work flexible shifts, speak and write English, and transport residents when required.

Qualifications

• Experience with safety and security (1 year minimum).
• Prefer experience working with criminal justice residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise resident population at all times, including meals, work periods, visitation, and furloughs.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of residents, staff, and visitors.
• Conduct daily inspections of the house and maintain logs.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the house and grounds.
• Record maintenance issues and report to supervisor.
• Conduct random room checks and counts per policy.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Resident medication management and distribution.
