Job summary

The Connection Inc. in Middletown, CT is seeking an Admissions Specialist to support daily program operations and orient new clients to Eddy Center.

You will complete initial intake paperwork, conduct required assessments, and apply a strengths-based, client-centered approach to help men re-enter the community. A valid driver's license and consistent attendance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years related experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• New Hire Orientation occurs after employment at Roscommon Middletown office.

Responsibilities

• Orient new clients to the program and complete initial intake paperwork, including required assessments.
• Support daily operations of the Eddy Center program.
• Apply a strengths-based, client-centered approach in supporting men re-entering the community.

#IND123Position: Admissions SpecialistProgram: Eddy CenterLocation: MiddletownSalary: $21.00/hourSchedule: Full time, 40 hours, 2nd shift, Monday (2:30-10:30p) & 1st shift, Tuesday, Wednesday (7-3p) & Thursday, Friday (9-5p)Program Summary:Eddy Center is a transitional 24-hour residential program which provides both supervision and support to men who are under the supervision of Parole. Services are designed to support positive community re-entry.Position Summary:The Admissions Specialist is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the program. This position plays an integral role in orienting new clients to the program and completing initial intake paperwork including required assessments. The successful candidate will be able to utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach in supporting men as they re-enter the community.
