Delta-T Group North Jersey, Inc. is seeking a reliable Direct Support Professional to provide support and instruction to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Staten Island group home.

Compensation is competitive at $17-$19 per hour for a part-time or full-time independent contractor role. The position offers flexible weekend and weekday shifts, opportunities to grow professionally, and weekly compensation.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• First Aid training is required or recommended.
• TB testing and mandated clearances are part of the eligibility requirements.

Responsabilités

• Promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth for individuals in the care setting.
• Ensure activities foster each individual's growth toward their highest level of accomplishment.
• Deliver care and services in a climate of normalization, care, and concern.
• Assist consumers with daily nutrition and medications (as needed).
• Transport consumers to appointments (as needed).

Our Client is seeking a reliable and attentive Direct Support Professional to provide support and instruction to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a group home in the Staten Island area. Competitive Compensation: $17- $19 per hour

CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS

Assorted shifts available for part time and full schedule. Weekends are available. Must be flexible.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
• Ensure all activities are designed to foster growth to each individual's highest level of accomplishment.
• Ensure all care and services are delivered in a climate of normalization, care and concern.
• Assist Consumers with daily nutrition and their medications (as needed)
• Transport Consumers to appointments (as needed)

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Valid Driver's License (not required but helpful)
• Ability to complete and pass mandated clearances.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be comfortable toileting.

• TB (Tuberculosis)
• SCIP (Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention) not required but helpful.
• AMAP(Approved Medication Administration Personnel) not required but helpful.
