Stonington Institute is hiring a FT Residential Aide at the North Stonington location to supervise the unit and ensure a safe, secure environment for clients, staff, and visitors. You will implement safety policies and support the facility's daily operations in a behavioral health setting.

39-hr? No; 36-hour position with 12-hour shifts, requiring availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in social services, residential treatment, and/or custodial supervision preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with MVR acceptable; no DUI/DWI in past 7 years.

• Supervise the unit to ensure safety and security for clients, staff, and visitors.
• Implement all policies to maintain safety of clients and property.

Our clinic in Groton, CT, offers partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment, and is conveniently located across the street from The Inn at Trails Corner, a new 180 bed dormitory-style sober community for adult men and women who attend our outpatient day treatment programs. The Inn offers overnight accommodations, full-meal service, indoor/outdoor recreation options, a workout room, and computer center for all clients. We accept private insurance, state-funded plans and self-pay arrangements.

Qualifications
