Stonington Institute is committed to providing quality substance abuse treatment options for adultsin southeastern Connecticut and surrounding areas. We offer medical detox aswell as residential addictions treatment for active duty and retired military service members in our North Stonington location. Our clinic in Groton, CT, offers partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment, and is conveniently located across the street from The Inn at Trails Corner, a new 180 bed dormitory-style sober community for adult men and women who attend our outpatient day treatment programs. The Inn offers overnight accommodations, full-meal service, indoor/outdoor recreation options, a workout room, and computer center for all clients. We accept private insurance, state-funded plans and self-pay arrangements.

The Residential Aide supervises the unit to ensure the safety and security of the environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Implements all Program and Institute policies and procedures pertaining to the safety and security of clients, Institute property and the community.

This is a full time, 36 hour position (12 hour shifts). Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
High School Diploma required. Experience in social services, residential treatment, and/or custodial supervision desired. Valid driver's license with MVR acceptable to organization, to include no DUI/DWI in past seven (7) years. Ideally, public service endorsement or ability obtain endorsement within 30 days of hire.
