Job summary

Sedgwick County is seeking a detail-oriented administrative professional to provide pre-validation and records-support for residential and agricultural real-property sales. You will review SVQs, deeds, and related documents, enter research data into Orion, and ensure accuracy through self-checks and quality-control processes.

The role involves coordinating with the Residential Market Modeler and Project Leader, routing files for field review, and maintaining compliant records in Orion/OnBase.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years in clerical, administrative support, data-entry, records-management, customer-service or related fields.
• Preferred: 2 years in property assessment, mass appraisal, real estate, sales validation, or data-quality work; progress toward related designations or degree.
• Must be able to pass required real-property appraisal and related courses.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-validation and administrative support for residential and agricultural real-property sales.
• Review SVQs, deeds, transfers, and related docs to confirm alignment with guidelines.
• Enter and maintain sales research data in Orion and related systems.
• Perform self-review of research and data-entry for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify transfers align with parcels during legal research; ensure files are complete.
• Use queries/reports to identify data-quality issues and communicate findings.
• Assist modelers and project leads with testing queries supporting quality-control.
