Responsibilities

  • Monitor and supervise 35 to 45 youth (ages 17-21) in the Sooner Job Challenge Program.
  • Maintain accountability of assigned platoon at all times.
  • Maintain discipline, security, and safety within a quasi-military atmosphere.
  • Develop a team-oriented attitude in the Associates.
  • Mentor/role model for those assigned cadets during residential phase.
  • Direct and participate in first line counseling; instructor in Drill and Ceremony and group living skills.
  • Directs and participates in physical training.
  • Provide transportation and supervision for Associates attending vocational training.
  • Maintain supporting documentation and evaluations for those assigned Associates.
