Job summary

Adams and Associates, in partnership with Job Corps, is seeking a Residential Advisor at the Shriver campus in Devens, MA. This part-time role supports students living on campus, guiding group living and supervising daily activities.

You will supervise dorms, assist in daily operations and reports, and help students develop independent living skills. A high school diploma and experience with youth are required, with a valid in-state driver's license preferred.

• Direct students and assist in the cleanup and maintenance of the dormitory.

Job Description

The Residential Advisor provides proper guidance to students to ensure positive group living relations and achievement in the Job Corps program. Responsibilities include:

Schedule

• Tuesday, Friday & Saturday, 3:00 PM-12:00 AM
• Overtime opportunities available

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with youth required, residential experience preferred but not necessary.
• A valid in-State Driver’s License preferred.
• Eager to learn, highly adaptable, and a natural problem‑solver.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
