Job summary

Exeter Job Corps Academy seeks a Residential Advisor for the Day Shift to supervise students aged 16-24 in a safe, structured dorm environment. The role supports retention, achievement, and success within the Job Corps program.

The position offers benefits, a generous pay rate of $22.21/hour, and a Monday–Friday schedule from 7am to 4pm, with opportunities for advancement and a supportive, campus-based work culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Job Corps or related program experience strongly preferred.
• Valid, active driver’s license and ability to meet Company insurability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure dorm security during class hours and report concerns.
• Inspect dorm rooms and initiate repairs daily.
• Document inspections and trends to management.
• Maintain inventory and reorder supplies.
• Coordinate packing, mailing and tracking of separated students’ belongings.
• Transport students to and from public transportation.
• Mentor and model CareerSuccess Standards.
• Provide high-quality supervision and management for the student population.
• Take swift and appropriate action and positively influence student behavior.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education
