Job summary

New Paths, Inc. in Flint, MI is seeking a part-time Residential Advisor to support clients on 2nd or 3rd shift.

You will monitor activity, maintain logs, assist with medications, escort residents, and help sustain a calm, safe environment in accordance with agency procedures. Ideal candidates have two years of human services experience or an associate degree, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse people.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Human Services or an Associates Degree in related field.
• Demonstrate clear and concise writing abilities.
• Skill in communicating with a variety of people from varying backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client activity per New Paths policies and procedures.
• Maintain professionalism, safety, and accountability.
• Create a calm, supportive environment promoting healthy behaviors.
• Communicate client activities in logs, broadcasts, or emails as appropriate.
• Report violations through the RMS system and document incidents.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly checklists and monitor departures/returns.
