Job summary

Allied Universal in Orlando, FL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Console to safeguard residents, guests, and property at a residential community. You will manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and deliver professional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Guard card or license preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with community procedures.
Control access to residential community amenities and common areas while maintaining professional, courteous communication with residents and guests.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate contacts and complete required reports.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the community perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
