Qualifications

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional to perform access control to a secured condo property.

The officer will check credentials and allow access as appropriate based upon the site post orders.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and service personnel entering the residential community.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community access areas, common areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
