Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer for a full-time Access role in Columbia, SC. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and respond to security concerns, delivering strong customer service in a residential environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following security procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for residents, guests, visitors, vendors, and deliveries.
• Maintain visitor, contractor, vehicle, and access-control records and communicate with site personnel.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of common areas and entry points to deter unauthorized activity.
