Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Alarm Access in Columbia, SC. You will monitor entry points, manage badges, conduct patrols, and respond to alarm activity while delivering friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide access-control procedures and customer service at a logistics location.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, and maintain logs.
• Coordinate vehicle access and communicate with dispatch.
• Respond calmly to incidents following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and surrounding areas.
