Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking an on-site caregiver in Alhambra, CA, to provide care and supervision for mentally ill residents. Responsibilities include organizing activities, instructing in daily living skills, coordinating transportation, and maintaining confidentiality.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, with 401K and benefits. Applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid CA driver's license, and pass health screenings and TB tests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• ASL proficiency strongly considered.
• Must have a valid California driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Physically, mentally, and occupationally capable of performing duties; health screening and TB tests.
• Be of good character and have no criminal record beyond minor traffic violations; background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Care & Supervision: Provide on-site monitoring, care, and supervision to residents; assist in developing and implementing individualized needs and service plans.
• Group Activities: Organize and supervise group recreational, social and cultural activities and outings.
• Instruction: Model and instruct residents in daily living skills, budgeting, shopping, and maintaining an orderly home environment.
• Transportation: Schedule and provide transportation to medical, dental, and other appointments; transport for group outings.
• Meetings: Participate in staff meetings and training activities.
• Other: Maintain client confidentiality and report unusual situations to supervisor; perform other duties as needed.
