Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services seeks a Lifestyle Enrichment Guide to plan and implement activities that support wellness domains—social, intellectual, physical, and spiritual—for residents. You will collaborate with residents, families, volunteers, and staff to foster a supportive, engaging environment that promotes healthy aging.

You will prepare spaces, coordinate resources, and transport residents as needed while valuing person-centered care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a lifestyle enrichment/activities role is preferable.
• CPR certification is required.
• High level of customer service and person-centered care.
• Enjoyment of creativity and interpersonal interaction through one-on-one and group activities.
• Desire to be part of a team.
• Proficient computer skills.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Active driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate resident lifestyle enrichment pursuits with the team.
• Observe resident engagement and progress to support individual needs.
• Prepare rooms/areas and gather supplies for activities; transport residents as needed.
• Respond to residents based on activity level and interests.
• Advocate for residents and communicate changes to the supervisor and team.
• May serve as back-up driver for offsite transportation if licensed.
